When you first get your new PC there are a few simple steps that everyone can take to enable some basic security. This is still a work in progress bear with me as I get this going.
- Enable Windows Update – allow the system to download and install the updates. You can of course allow the system to reboot itself once installed but that is a users choice.
- Install Antivirus – This si very important. There are many different antivirus vendors out there some free and some for subscription. Go Here to read more.
- Install AntiSpyware-
- install a Personal Firewall – I know these programs can be annoying but they are well worth the trouble. Go Here to read more
